WATCH: Bears Fans Are Burning Justin Fields Jerseys

2023-09-26
Chicago Bears fans have always been among the toughest contingencies to play in front of in the NFL.
In fact, Chicago sports fans in general have always been some of the more critical fans regardless of league.
And when you're playing as poorly as Justin Fields and the 0-3 Bears are right now, it will be hard to escape those critics.
That said, some Bears fans took things a bit too far over the weekend and began to burn Fields jerseys following the team's 41-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
And while burning a Chicago Bears jersey is never a rational thing to do for any fan, and the blame should be anything but 100 percent on Fields, the frustration that the Bears faithful feels is certainly warranted in general.
The team currently sits at 0-3 and has looked anemic throughout each outing.
Fields meanwhile, has been poor to say the least, completing just 58 percent of his passes for 526 yards and three touchdowns with our interceptions.
However, if you ask FOX analyst Terry Bradshaw, all is not lost, and he believes the Fields situation can be fixed.
"I know you can't fix it until the season is over," Bradshaw said on Sunday. “(The Bears) are not going to fire their coach in the middle of the season. That's not their style. I do believe if this continues, and it looks like it will, they're going to get a new coach. They’re going to have to get someone to come in and fix that quarterback. (Justin Fields) is talented.”
These comments come just days after Bradshaw ripped Fields for his on-the-field performance as well.
Either way, the Bears will take the field again with Fields under center - whether the fans like it or not - this coming Sunday against the 0-3 Denver Broncos.
